Health Information
Health information is not just for the exclusive medical community. More and more, people are educating themselves on health information on topics ranging from acid reflux disease and dental care to depression and axiety and even snoring. Whatever the health information you seek is, with a little research you can have all the answers for whichever condition you are researching. Health Method is a website that was established to provide a centralized location of health related information. Please visit frequently as our health information data base is updated multiple times every day. As new health information becomes available it will be reviewed and if appropriate, it will be included in one form or another on this website.
If you have any health information you would like to share, please take a moment to visit our blog on health information topics and leave a comment. Who knows, you might just see your health information included here.
A note from TL Tipton our editor:
With the rising costs of health care, more and more families are turning to homeopathic and home remedies for many health issues that we would have made a trip to the ER 20 years ago. Let's face it. Gas is over $4 a gallon and it is causing smart consumers to tighten their belts in ways that we didn't have to in past decades. I can tell you that I am outright CHEAP! I would much rather spend an hour researching alternative cures and health information than hand over a dollar to the over priced medical industry. By the way, I have spent my entire 21 year working career in that same over priced industry and I have seen what goes on behind the scenes. Most of you would be appalled if you knew.
One of the things I remember most about my childhood was sitting around with my parents and grand parents listening to stories of the hardships they faced when they were younger. They were forced to come up with some colorful ways to even make a buck. My grand father actually ran a speakeasy in his celar. He told stories of his customers, one of whom was the famous actor/entertainer Burl Ives who is now buried right next to my grand father. Now I never miss an oportunity to watch Rudolph (narated by Burl Ives) with the kids at Christmas time. Back then it did not matter whether you lived in town or in the country, you raised chickens and you grew corn. With money being that hard to come by back then, you can bet that they found all kinds of ways to get by and save a buck. They posessed a good deal of health information and knew many methods to treat all kinds of ailments... and most of them worked. It was just more convenient for them that way.
Today however, our society has forgotten much of what they knew. We live in a disposable society. All of us have become acustomed to immediate self gratification with as little on no effort at all. We have become impatient creatures. Modern conveniences have caused us to lose touch with that part of our genetic makeup that kept the human species alive for thousands of years, that part that makes us self sufficient. Call it evolution if you like. I prefer to term it de-evolution though. The human race, at least in this country, has de-evolved into creatures that cannot think or fend for themselves. Am I really that unique; that I choose to follow a different path? that I prefer to rely only on the one person that can truly help me? Those are the questions that I felt needed answered. The questions that bid farewell to me as I began my journey, a modern day quest. I have spent most of my life seeking this not so anxient knowledge. Those are also the questions that ultimately led me to creat this website. Healthmethod.com is the culmination of the knowledge I have aquired on that quest.
Please take a moment to examine these pages and share in what few of us left already know. My plan is to update these pages with fresh information as time allows. So, make sure you check back here often. I have added a blog here because I would love to hear from you all about other health issues you want to know about. In the mean time, thank you so much for visiting and I hope you enjoy...
